Avoiding the marginalization of girls who are intellectually gifted but have modest existing conditions. By continuing their studies, we invest in these girls from the point of view of increasing their self-esteem and dignity. Moreover, by capitalizing on their study potential, we consider that we are helping to respect their rights in a society where no one cares about the huge social loss that increases with each unfairly marginalized person.
From another point of view, the ideals of the Soroptimist movement are very well emphasized by this project. In our communities, we Soroptimist members are highly respected because we capitalize on the intellectual potential of poor girls in a humanistic, sensitive and noble way at the same time. All the girls who benefited from financial aid in this project had good results at school and went to college. And if the girls helped get their baccalaureate and continue learning a job, it is also a special result. That is why all the members of our club express their gratitude for the special help received by the girls of the target group in this project.
