Om klubben og SI

Kongens Lyngby Soroptimistklub blev stiftet den 21. juni 1943.

Klubben er en del af Soroptimist International - en verdensomspændende organisation for erhvervsaktive kvinder. Organisationen blev grundlagt i 1921 og arbejder for at fremme ligestilling mellem kønnene, bæredygtig udvikling of fred via det globale netværk af aktive medlemmer.

Soroptimist International har som NGO organisation (Non Governmental Organisation) konsultativ status i FN.

Vi er neutrale i partipolitiske og religiøse spørgsmål.

Kongens Lyngby Soroptimist Club was founded June 21, 1943.

The club is part of Soroptimist International - a non-political organization for professional and business women of all ages. Founded in 1921, the organization works through its global network of active members for the advancement of gender equality, sustainable development and peace worldwide.
