Monday, September 22 - 2008:

Hour : 09.00 – 16.00 pm
We head directly for the Rosenholm Castle. It was built in 1570 by chancellor Jørgen Rosenkrantz, and it has been in the possession of this family ever since. It is the house of a noble family, and as such it renders an impression of what every day life was like for generations of the Danish nobility throughout 450 years.
We go on to the small and most charming town Ebeltoft, paved with cobbled stones and known for its tiny, ancient and charming town hall. This is also the town that is proud to have the longest wooden ship in the world by the name: Fregatten Jylland, constructed in 1860 for the Danish fleet. Today the ship houses a museum located in a marine environment next to the harbour of Ebeltoft. There will be a guided tour on board. Subsequently we will enjoy our lunch at a nearby café
After lunch we will visit the Glass Museum in Ebeltoft, and its international collection of contemporary master pieces of glass work.
Finally you will be given time for shopping and sightseeing in this picturesque town.
On our way back, we will make a stop over at the Aarhus Airport in case time is convenient for any participant to say goodbye and connect to for example Copenhagen.
