The theme of the meeting goes under this heading No Tolerance of Intolerance. Besides this, one important purpose is also to establish an inspiring forum for new friendships across borders and across Soroptimist clubs.

 

A programme has been developed, and it is our hope that it will inspire Soroptimists from Denmark, Europe, Africa, indeed from all over the world, to join in and see other Soroptimists. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for Danish Soroptimist Clubs to urge friendship links to come to Denmark – and we hope you will do so.

 

The programme includes a series of lectures Saturday as an entry to vivid discussions on the theme. You will find yourself seated in an auditorium in beautiful surroundings of the University of Aarhus. Not to forget the opening reception at Aarhus Townhall, gala dinner and a guided city tour. Sunday evening will include and close the official part of the programme with home hospitality hosted by Soroptimist members of the two clubs. If you want to stay on, a tourist programme offers visits to Danish institutions and a view into Danish cultural life.

 

Conference language will be English and French.
