English update

A short summary

Grindsted-Billund Soroptist club is based in the middle of Jutland. Our club has more than 31 active members with different professional backgrounds.

We were chartered in May 1995 and have in the past supported a large number of charity projects - from small and short-termed donations to bigger and longerstanding projects - both locally and internationally. An overview of our donations can be found in Danish by the following link.

Friendship link

Our friendship link - Utrecht-Nedersticht soroptimist club - is based in the Netherlands. We meet regularly - at least every second year - and not only tie international friendship bonds, but also get an insight in different traditions and culture across borders.

In May 2009, Dutch soroptimists visited Denmark and we arranged a weekend focused on cultural experiences centered around Denmarks famous Viking past.

A group of Danish soroptimist visited the Netherlands in the spring of 2011 and enjoyed a weekend together with our friendshiplink.
